Mera pehla pehla post …

A few days back someone suggested to me that I should write down all the weird stuff that goes on inside my head… So here goes!

Practising for MANTRA ( for Mood Indigo) has put forth some startling facts :

1. Rolls of precious magnetic tape have been wasted creating all kind of crap (read stupid hindi songs written by ‘popstars’ who just cant get themselves to even change the chord progression when they are composing a new song.

2. Old hindi songs (before 1975) still form the golden era of bollywood music.

3. I am playing bass guitar for songs that even I know are bad (well, some are good but they are too few)

4. I practise playing these songs 5 hrs a day.

5. Point 4 leads me to the fact that I am wasting almost friggin’ 21% of my life on stuff that I dont like.

6. I cant see myself changing the situation.

7. I am really really really dumb.

8. (The only good thing in life!) After so many hours of hindi film music I still hate Himesh Reshammiya !
